What does localization mean to us?

It means providing you with a single point of contact for all Italian localization services: dubbing, subtitling, accessibility, delivery for any broadcaster or platform, and secure data/material storage.

Where are your recording and post-production studios located?

Our recording studios are in Milan and Rome. All post-production and delivery are centralized in Rome.

Why are your operational offices in Milan and Rome?

To maximize studio availability and access to a wide range of voice talents from Milan, Rome, and Turin.

Are you experienced with international projects?

D&R Factory mainly works with international clients: distributors, OTT platforms, and multilingual localization companies. We're used to working under tight deadlines and in sync with studios worldwide.

What is TPN certification?

TPN (Trusted Partner Network) certification is required by global entertainment majors from the dubbing and post-production studios they intend to work with.

It calls for significant investment in both physical infrastructure and IT systems, ensuring that materials provided for production are stored and processed in complete security and only for as long as strictly necessary. Studios are certified following a detailed assessment.

In other words, the security systems mandated by TPN go far beyond generic anti-piracy precautions.

A certified studio like ours is therefore equipped with the highest level of defense against physical intrusions and cyberattacks.

How involved can the client be in the production process?

You decide the level of involvement. For dubbing, for instance, you can review the adapted script and the mix, or even follow recording sessions live via link. Just keep in mind: every stage undergoes strict internal quality control.

How much input does the client have in voice casting?

Casting is always a collaborative process. We offer voice samples from our library or organize casting sessions on request.

How do you ensure the security of your facilities?

Only authorized personnel can access our facilities via fingerprint and facial recognition. Data and materials are accessible only to those working on a specific project, and only for the required time. Our servers meet the highest security standards.
